All of our cage kits are made out of 2" 4130 Chrome-moly tubing. Short tubes are pre-notched to give a 10 degree lay back.

These are not in stock, we make each one of them to order

FAQ:

Q: Are these welded together?

A: NO, They are KITS, you have to weld them together and get them inspected.

Q: Are the kits ready to weld?

A: No. The main hoops are extra long to allow you to cut to length. We recommend 2-3" above the drivers helmet.

Also, the kits are universal for and 3 bar designs, so the U bar and the J bends will have to be cut and notched to suit. Try to maintain 24" depth.

Q: Are these kits in stock?

A; No. We offer too many shapes and widths to stock every one. They have to custom bent for each order.

Q: how long does it take to get one?

A: Typically 7-10 days to bend and ship, It would be best to call if you are in a hurry to make sure we have time and tubing in stock. We do run out of both.

Q: Can my buddy who was an expert welder in high school weld this with his Lincoln stick welder?

A: It would probably be better to pay someone to TIG weld the cage

Q: Can these be MIG welded?

Yes. The material is not heat-treated, so it does not get brittle like 4130 used for dragsters. The problem with MIG is all the splatter and clean up.

Some organizations specify TIG, it it up to you to check your local rules.

Q: What kind of filler rod do you recommend?

A: ER70S-6, or ER80SD-2 will work great

Do you offer a discount if I buy more than one?

If you are looking for more than one kit, it would be best to call so we can discount shipping costs

Customer must provide a commercial address for shipping, or pay an additional $85.00 residential fee for a lift gate truck
